This is an acrylic painting from a series of water-inspired work. I painted this in response to an art project called 'The Art Word'. The word 'Forever' was the word I had to respond to. I love the calming feeling of these gentle ripples with the light gleaming on them. I was thinking of these patterns repeating across oceans and across time - going on forever. When I stepped back to observe it, it made me think of stars in the cosmos and the interconnectedness of nature.
